Beef supplier thrashed, handed over to police

Belagavi: Activists of the and allegedly assaulted a man who was reportedly at Handigund village, taluk, on Sunday.
After thrashing Lalsab Bepari, the activists handed him over to police. The Handigund resident was transporting meat in his Tata Ace. It is also alleged that he was slaughtering cows and calves illegally to meet the demand for beef.

A case was registered at Harugeri police station.
