Hill International Wins Subcontract

Hill International, a professional services firm, said Wednesday that it has received a subcontract valued at $5.8 million from Jacobs Engineering (JEC) to assist them in providing construction management services to the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority for the rehabilitation of the Canarsie Tunnel in New York City.

Under the award, the company will be supporting Jacobs in providing pre-construction and construction management services during the tunnels rehabilitation, and also includes the demolition and replacement of duct banks and cables and emergency systems, rack rail and concrete bed installation, as well as street excavation. The subcontract has a five-year performance period.
