Raytheon Wins Defense Department Contract

Raytheon has been awarded a $104.9 million firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Griffin Missiles, the U.S. Defense Department said in a notice on its web site. The contract provides for delivery of all variants of Griffin standoff precision-guided munitions and corresponding production, test and engineering support, and work is expected to be completed by year-end 2018.

The award is the result of a sole-source acquisition, and fiscal 2016 and 2017 procurement funds in the amount of $24.1 million are being obligated at time of award.
