Surgeons’ meet in Jaipur

JAIPUR: The 77th annual National conference of the associations of of India organized by Rajasthan chapter was held at Birla Auditorium at Jaipur over 7000 delegates and 22,000 members participated in the conference.
There were 158 doctors, who were honoured with their degrees came from around the globe and also felicitated Dr from , Dr Alamgir from Bangladesh and Dr MD from .

While speaking as a chief guest, Chancellor of Dr Sandeep Bakshi said that he felt that the declining trust of patients in doctor needed to be combated vigorously. “Its time to save the saviours,” he said. Doctors need to practice doctoral ethics and the raise the bar in healthcare. The need of the hour is to stand united and for each other. He also shared his vision of creating a global hub for medical tourism in Jaipur which is already a part of golden tourism triangle.

The association also felicitated doctors with the DrGG Chatterjee Travelling Fellowship, Dr AK Basu Travelling fellowships, Ethicon Travelling Fellowships in basic surgical skills and Ethicon Travelling Fellowships in Advanced Surgical skills. The best state chapter award was awarded to Delhi. The best section award was awarded to ACRSI (KKS).

The association also elected Dr. Dilip Gode, Nagpur as its next president.
