“When we searched the mobile phone of one of the accused, we found scores of photographs of semi-naked men with the same woman. It indicates that these accused were running a racket with the help of that woman,” the official said on the condition of anonymity. The ACB said that while they have under the relevant sections of the prevention of corruption act, the entire nexus can be unearthed only by the district police.

“Our action was based on the single FIR registered by the complainant; more victims should come out and file complaint against the arrested cops and the woman who aided cops in the blackmailing racket,” the official said.
